Pffft, headlines.
In the other O'Loughlin article the headline reads:
I've never been tested, O'Laughlin says
yet in the body of the article it say's:
When asked yesterday if he had ever been tested for illicit drugs - including cocaine and methamphetamine (ice) - out of competition O'Loughlin replied: "Not that I know of."
"I've been around for a long time, maybe my memory is not as good," he said.
"I probably have, but, off the top of my head, I couldn't tell you."
WTF, doesn't exactly read as per the headline.
Unless of course there is some guy called O'Laughlin they are talking about. Now that's a funny name.

Reading between the lines....
When asked yesterday if he had ever been tested for illicit drugs - including cocaine and methamphetamine (ice) - out of competition O'Loughlin replied: "Not that I know of." = I'm usually pretty off my chops for most of the off season so total recall isn't really my strong suit...
"I've been around for a long time, maybe my memory is not as good," he said. = When you get as @@@@@@ up as we do after a win, it's hard enough remembering what team you play for....
"I probably have, but, off the top of my head, I couldn't tell you." = What's with all the questions man???
Drugs are bad...mmmm OK????

The Tele headline was a tad over the top - underneath in bold they mentioned he'd been playing for 14 seasons without being tested. Well, IIRC, they've only been doing out of competition testing for the last 3 or 4 years. And as the article makes clear, he's been tested in competition on a number of occasions.Comment
