I think it's time to groom White into a FB.

Yes, but you have to factor in that Schauble could still play on resting ruckmen, body up to people without giving away frees as well as keep the backline in order.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Yes, Barry is slower and doesn't make up for it in size.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Jude is useless, as is Benny. Hall was selfish. Davo was dejected. Spider has to learn not to get first hands on the ball as we have no attacking midfielders. Jolly < Doyle. I thought Nog looked ok. Malceski and Dempster need to be used more. I like Leo but thought he was poor tonight. The first half was atrocious - little desire to be first to the ball. I thought Kirk lifted in the second half but gee I wish he could kick. Ted was good. Vogels could be, don't write him off yet. Phillips will not make it - way too small.

At least when he's that far behind he doesn't give away a free.

How much game time did Davis get? I felt like screaming into my paper megaphone as loudly as i could "BRING NICK DAVIS ON!".

I disagree with that. I think he will make it once he better adapts to the flow and pace of the game. It will just take time, but I am confident the rewards will be worth it. We would benefit from someone of his type. At least he has the excuse of youth.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

No we need leadership players like Jude Bolton and Benny Matthews. Stuff the young kids..all they are good for is trade bait.

Better the WCE than Essendon 2006

I'm gutted we lost too, but not as gutted as last year when we lost to Essendon who didn't win another game for about four months. If we're going to lose these early games it's better to lose against those teams we are going to struggle to beat later, rather than lose to the duds and still have to face the good teams later.

We badly missed LRT's height and we do really need a big strong defender to release Leo to a flank. We should all be thankful that Leo has been able fill FB when we didn't have another option. He has sacrificed a lot for the team when obviously his game is suited to being a running back flanker a la Kennelly.
Those who have the greatest power to hurt us are those we love.

There is no point blaming individual players. The game was lost because of a stupid game plan in the first half AND poor conversion. We should have won, but blew it.

When we play-on, run the lines, we outscore the premier 7 goals to 1. We we are stagnant, no run, no options, we cant find a goal to save ourselves. This is the swans story since Roos took over.

Tonights game reminded me of the game in Brisbane a few years ago where we came from behind by throwing caution to the wind. Why dont we do this every game!
