No doubt Schmidt. He reads the play at centre bounces and gets possession way better than Bolton has his whole career.

If we improve our centre clearances with clean running possession our forwards will slaughter any backline. Clean centre clearances over the past 4 years has been our 1 glaring weakness. Witness the first 10
seconds of the 2006 GF. Quick to Hall, hands off to Goodes, goal.

Jude Bolton has been there the past 4 years. He cant read the play, reacts slowly and cant kick. His stats dont lie. We have a top tap ruckman now, why waste him on the likes of Bolton.

We have the best forward line in the comp, which might be a pretty bold statement, but i believe it to be true, and it's not utilized to it's full potential, certainly not enough anyway. Even if our midfield became %10 more attacking, we'd improve drastically!

P.S. Stats do lie sometimes. Isn't it Jolly who has the record for the most hitouts in a match?

You guys are all idiots. It's been one game. He's been our best player in the first half of the past 2 seasons.

I think you'll find that J Bolton was thrown forward to play as a defensive forward on Wirra.

He was killing us down back when Phillips was playing on him - the ball was coming out far too easily.

From the moment Bolton was put on him his influence on the match was greatly reduced.

However, if you'd prefer him to be a possession gathering, goalkicking midfielder then perhaps we can see if West Coast are happy for a straight swap during Trade Week - Bolton for Judd?
And the man who started it all, the Schneiderman . . . . .

Jude was horrible yes. But he was playing in a role that he shouldn't of been. Keep him in the middle.

Yep, spot on, Claret tho I think I'd argue Wirra still had a (reduced) impact with Bolton down there. My issue was that he was practically unsighted for the first half - actually as far as the people I was with were concerned he was in fact totally unsighted.

How on earth would you know this? You're comparing a bloke who has played 160+ games against a bloke who has played one.

Jude is clearly in our best 22.

I think that's arguable, particularly if you are taking a longer-term view.

                                He's only 27.

He's certainly no star but I couldn't have 22 players on our list ahead of him at this stage.
