    FTA Coverage RD 2

Just happened to be glancing through the TV guide included with today's Sunday Telegraph and according to their listing which of course is subject to change it indicates there will be no coverage of the Swans vs Richmond match Saturday April 7th at 2pm in Sydney metro area on FTA? This match has been listed as a live Foxtel match broadcast and is actually reviewed in the Pay tv section of the guide. Can anyone shed any light on this?

We don't get it into Melbourne as well. Welcome to the wonderful world of the 750mil tv rights deal.

We had it soo cushy when 9 had the rights.

The Telegraph (aka the Swan's official newspaper) has got it wrong. All Swans matches will be televised.

This week is the first of 13 weeks where the Swans will be available only on Foxtel.

Sydney however will get each of these matches on FTA also, but if you have Foxtel also, you get a choice between watching FTA or Foxtel. (I will be going with Foxtel seeing there is no ads during play)

If anyone wants to know in advance when the Swans are not going to be on FTA (outside of Sydney)

          Just click here

Any game that is circled is a Foxtel only game (with of course the exception of Sydney)

Does that include regional NSW? For some reason my flat can only get Southern Cross (Ten) and Prime (7) from the south coast, rather than Sydney TV.

I know that Newcastle,Northern NSW and Southern NSW are getting the Swans on Southern Cross this weekend. So I am guessing (and only a guess), that they are treated the same as Sydney in terms of the Swans for FTA.
