I'm not a huge one for stats, but there are some notables there.

17 marks for B2 - must be the most for a Swans since Johnnie Stevens' effort against Melbourne a few years ago.

    13 tackles for Kirk - a machine.

And almost as impressive, 9 marks for O'Keefe. Given that he's been known to go through a month of football without laying a tackle, that is a notable stat. Shows that when he's been tagged hard he's still prepared to do the hard work and contribute in other ways.

Can't also forget Malceski. Career high disposals (24), kicks (19) and marks (9) and he's only going to get better.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

And might I say Kennelly is a star. His run was brilliant and he is one who does something positive with it.

If only Leo would run to his left side and just keep on going like Irish.

AND pops himself in front of goals for an uncontested mark, and goal at an appropriate time in the game.

Very good vision from Buchanan then too.

Yes, that was extremely clever play! He played well today Buchanan.

Did some superb work extracting himself and the ball from packs.

Buchanan should be at centre bounces every time. He has the pace and break away ability that Bolton and McVeigh dont have. In with him should be Kirk, Fosdike and Schneider or Ablett.

I thought Jolly was extremely lazy in the around the ground running and needs to be a lot smarter in making position to take kicks. Taking taps at boundary throw ins is not the only thing he should be doing.

Put Spida in at the centre bounces every time.

I don't know that the stats necessarily support it but I thought that Dempster went OK. He was solid at critical times.

I thought so too, watching the game, but he needs to do more, and do it more often. He has all the attributes - an almost perfect physique, height, leg speed and probably the most penetrating kick in the team. He just needs to get himself in the right place more often to get involved, in the way that Malceski has quickly learned to do.

Yes, Dempster usually looks competent but doesn't really seem to do enough. I'd like to see him get more involved. He's a great kick and a nice mover, good height and a fantastic tackler. Plenty of potential.

Wouldn't it be great if Dempster would follow in the Eski's footsteps? he'd be such an awesome asset to the team, but i get this feeling he's not pushing himself enough, he's always in cruise control and rarely uses the talent he has. Someone should give him a slap and wake him up!
