I am sure Cher will have a funny story to tell about her run in with Junior 31.

We were in the hotel lift on our way to the game. The little boy who got in the lift with his family was all done up in Swans gear and I told him how great he looked and asked him if he had a number on his back, checking his back and seeing No. 31, I asked him if he knew who No. 31 was, the man with him said "I hope so, its his Dad!" Along with little 31 were the twins in their red carry bags. His mum told us he's been so excited all week telling everyone he was coming to Melbourne and going out on the ground to run through the banner.

Cher, did the looks suggest that there might be a genetic predisposition to him being a father-son draft pick?

Well he was a little skinny and needs to get some muscle on him, but definitely looks good in the red and white.

We saw him cross-legged under a tripod once.

              GS14 was there?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
