LRT on long term injury list.

I read it in the SMH this morning so he will have to miss a minimum of 8 games.

Rowe would be my pick for promotion as he can slot in as a 4th ruckman in case Donkey suffers another injury. He can also play forward as well.

Jack is the other who will be considered in case Crouch can't get himself back on the track.

    Rowe for me however.

He looked to be moving alright at Cargo Bar on Saturday after the races.

At this point of time, Yes. I just see alot more value in Rowe as he has more versitility than Big Earl.

Rowe has had jobs in defence, ruck and attack and he has done a good job in each.

Shaw at this point of time is just a good tap ruckman who can slot forward at times but doesn't do enough around the ground atm.
I definitely see the potential in him but you can't pass Rowe.

I wouldn't be surprised if LRT doesn't play a game all season.

Why would they promote Rowe when we have three ruckman already on main list who are playing.

LRT can and will be covered by either Vogels or Jesse White.

Would suggest Jack with his pace would be more a suitable replacement at present, considering we lack a bit of that through the midfield at present.

Fair enough point. We are severly lacking in the pace department and Jack being a small would be more footy ready than Rowe who is still a bit skinny (but will definitely fill out).

I wouldn't put him in front of Moore, Schmidt or Simpkin but he is ahead of Bevan.

I would think that if you are going to promote a rookie it would be the one you are most likely to play in the Seniors, not simply someone who is a replacement for LRT

Presuming he is close to being over injuries...this would be Luke Brennan, as someone who is a ready made senior player...this has to be why the Swans took a punt on him

Bevan, Crouch, Phillips, Moore, Simpkin etc would be in the seniors ahead of Jack
Jesse White and Vogels would be in the seniors ahead of the likes of Rowe

Perhaps Brennan will come in given his added experience?

From all reports Brennan is still a while away before he can be considered ready to play at senior level.

But yes if he was playing at present, he would be the likely replacement for LRT if they went like for like, otherwise Jack for his running ability.
