Barry talks about the knee, how important it was for him to come back on and do nothing last Saturday, the ankle, about how he used to miss matches through injury but now he wont because he's grown up and realises how important injuries really are, and generally dribbles the ideology of the Bloods. Nothing piece really. Watch him get towelled up Sunday.

How many rebound 50s for Hall's direct opponent on the weekend?I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time -
If it weren't for the Bloods ideology Hall would never have been allowed back on the ground and we may have won by 6 goals.
I can't see how only being able to run at 50% is any help to your teammates."As everyone knows our style of football is defensive and unattractive, and as such I have completely forgotten how to mark or kick over the years" - Brett Kirk

This column is better than I expected - I missed last week's but the two I've read have been pretty interesting. Not sure how much ghost writing or editing goes into them, but sounds like his words and insights. Good stuff.
For a team that uses the interchange as much as the Swans, doing the rotations between 21 instead of 22 probably has a significant effect, especially when #22 is going to take the best defender no matter what state he's in.Comment

The injury management has really changed a lot over the years, hasn't it? It's surprising how much of a role the discipline of the player involved now plays in minimising the "out time" of injuries - 20min on, 20min off ice for the whole night is a remarkably tedious (but stringent) regime to go through, and I'll imagine there's a whole heap of different exercises and restrictions on movement that will apply during the week as well as the usual RICE principles that would have have been in force in the acute phase.
If it's a ghostwriter that's writing, it's a pretty good one - capture a footballer's tone quite well.Comment

Possibly a nothing article for some but it does give an insight into the state of his mind. Hopefully he sticks to his word: "but I've just got to go on the advice of medical staff."
As previously discussed he is a champion but if he comes out looking like he did in the latter stages of last weeks game then he is a liability!Comment

It's been reported that he has passed his fitness test and there will be no changes to the team this week.Comment

There are a few snipers wandering around...Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.
