I remember Willo saying that Crouch doesn't shut up on the field. And McLeod directs the Crows midfield. So play Crouch on McLeod so he can't hear himself think. It worked for Aker.

It definetely worked for Aker. Aker slapped Crouch. Crouch must really talk a lot!

What does Flipper have to do to get a game? Or even be named as an emergency? Seemingly burned it up in the pre-season. Might not have been extraordinary in round 1, but just one game, limited opportunities and all of that. Named as our 2nd-best in the ritual pasting of the capital yokels last week.
I woulda thought that a specialist small forward would be in the perfect spot to get a run in the absence of Nick Davis. Whawenrong?
PS MO'L named at CHF and BBBH at FF? I know that Paul Roos likes having a gag with team placements, but this week's the first time I ever remember seeing that configuration.

I presume Schneider will play that role with Bolton spending some time up forward as well.
Nick Davis a small forward Davis and Phillips are like chalk and cheese.

McVeigh on McLeod I reckon as he presents more of an offensive threat.
Has McVeigh shown himself to be a useful tagger yet? I thought he was coming along well when left as a small forward. Now he's gone back to tagging/midfield roles I think he has gone backwards.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

It's very frustrating as he should be developing into a key ball winner for us but he appears badly off out of form at the moment.
He and Jude are the early candidates to be dropped back to the reserves to get some confidence as happened to Mathews and Richards last year (a masterstroke in Ted's case, Bumbling Benny just came back the same as he left )
