Barassi's last game as coach. Leo kicked a monster set shot goal from just outside 50, hard up against the boundary in front of the hill.

It's hard to imagine Leo for years on end was basically a high flying HFF who struggled to hold his place in the team.
That's right! I'd forgotten about that! I still remember Dunkley taking out the behind post in that game and Dean McCrae planting one on Ron Barrassi after we won, and it also secured Brisbane a place in the finals iirc!

I always thought Leo would be a great full forward in his early days. A bit like Mathew Lloyd. Maybe it was because he was a left footer and so was Lloyd.

Great effort Leapin on reaching 200 games. Lets hope we see many more.

Pity its not a home game and its at Footy Park (remember the spleen injury) not a happy hunting ground for both Sydney and Leo.

        Well done Leo.

And we're lucky he made it at all! I spoke to Leo and his brother, Paul, at a dinner last year. Paul was saying that the family was really concerned that they were going to lose Leo after that on-field accident in Adelaide a few years ago. They all flew over to be at his hospital bedside.

I love watching Leo set off on one of his water-beetle zig-zags out of defence. It still brings my heart into my mouth but he gets away with it so often that I've started to relax.

Let's hope the players step up for Leo as they did for Magic - and the Swannies overrun the Crows on Saturday night.

Great clubman and zany, loony player - the quintessential counter-argument to those who suggest that Swans' players are automatant drones.

Yep.. now that you mention it.. I remember that game as well. Though it wasn't the kick I remember... It was the screamer he took to get the set shot on goal.... My mate and I looked at each other and were like... who the @@@@ was that???? He can play next week!!! LOL...

Well done Leaping... Been a pleasure watching you play.
