Oh dear...it says Jude was one of our best...that should provoke some interesting comments."The Dog days are over, The Dog days are gone" Florence and the Machine -

Well to be fair, Jude won the most contested possesion on the park. Had 22 possesions and 6 tackles. They are all very good stats. That's not to say his disposal is disappointing.Comment

Absolutely woeful skills. What was it that we kicked - 5.14? Woeful.
There was some good stuff in there, but we kept butchering chances, so the little bits of good work went unrewarded. We just can't seem to beat Adelaide..... Thank christ we haven't met them in a final for years (that was a doozy too, thrashed at the SCG in Paul Roos' last game as a player).
177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

RWO was critisized for being overly negative after the loss to the WCE, but i think it's time to really get serious about our efforts this season, or lack of. Two wins against two average teams, and two losses to two of the best sides in the league. If that's not a message, i don't know what is.Comment

*cringes* I remember that one well. 1998 after we defeated the Saints by 2 points in the wet?Absolutely woeful skills. What was it that we kicked - 5.14? Woeful.

That's the one - we snuck over the line when Greg Stafford kicked a goal, and Micky put Nicky winmar off his shot at the other end.
See, I can remember useless bits of trivia like that, and yet most times forget to do things that are written down on paper right in front of me.

I want to know what those possessions consisted of. If they were sitting on the ball and rolling over without disposing then I'd be happy, because that's about all he did. He had 2 clear possessions in the 3rd Q, one a free and one on his own on the wing and he had no idea what to do with the footy. His skills are below AFL standard and he probably knows it, because he has no idea of a quick movement or running off from a free possession, and he clearly doesn't want to kick it. Trouble is he cant handpass either.
A dunce of a footballer who has been overrated for ages. Whoever made that report clearly hasn't a clue about our game. How can you put an imposter like him above other players who worked their guts out all night.
He played one good Q last week and I stupidly apologised to him. ROK did say I spoke too soon. Talk about a one quarter wonder. You would think he would at least to try to chase a player on the forward line. He is a dead set liability when he rests on the forward line. As a matter of fact a liability when he is on the bench. As useless as the proverbials on a bull.
Choked again. As I said on the chat line during the game, he never plays well against top sides.Comment
