Whatever, they need about 3-4 extra sessions this week IMO. It's all well n good to say it's a mental thing, but i don't want to sit around and wait for them to snap out of it, i'm a paying member like many others!! Practice doesn't necessarily make perfect, but it sure helps!!

Na, don't stress about our goal kicking....it's only cost us a game.

Thats easy for Roos to say.

We, the supporters, are the ones who are stressing!!!

If they are deciding to aim between the little sticks, that's certainly pretty poor decision making.

Routine, routine, routine. One of the ass't coaches at the time said that he was worried about Cressa taking that after-the-siren shot to win vs the Roos about 5 years ago, until he saw that he was marking out his run just like they'd practiced it. Cressa drilled it. Any manual task should become automatic once you've done it 1000 times the same way; you don't even think about how you do it.

Monty is a perfect example of a guy who either has no set-shot routine or forgets it as soon as the ball is in his hands; which is pretty appalling for a professional footballer (who, in a shocking mongrel kick, kicked the final goal of the 2005 GF). MOL has one, but is too easily distracted by the opposition/crowd/fact the ump didn't give him a 50 metre penalty/passing it off, where he should be entirely focussed on executing his goalkicking routine.
