Just when you think WC are about to turn a new page, Chris Judd lowers himself to dirty tactics. This isn't something you'd expect from a champion footballer, a true Brownlow Medallist who you'd swear was totally the best & FAIREST.

Tonight he deliberately punched Kane Johnson's broken hand with a clenched fist. I know this sort of thing has happened in the past, but to me, that is downright rotten. I remember a game where Steve Kretiuk was chasing Lloyd around in a frenzied attempt to belt his busted hand. The footage was sickening.

To me, this sort of crap ought to be reportable and suspendable.

It's OK for you to highlight an incident such as Fraser Gehrig's "love tap" as a reportable and suspendable incident, but not someone who deliberately punches an opponents broken hand....

This reminds me of an incident last year with Daniel Kerr and Sam Mitchell from the Hawks. Apparently, he had some sort of minor injury to his thigh and Daniel Kerr, being the tool he is, sent a fist that way. He missed.

Point of the story: West Coast are all scum.

There are those (such as NMW) that will suggest that any player who is on the field carrying an injury is "fair game" and "shouldn't be out there". They would have applauded the Brisbane Lions when Nick Reiwoldt was cannoned into whilst leaving the field when he sustained a severe shoulder injury a couple of seasons ago. But to me, their actions are far worse than an innocuos "love tap" into someone's bread basket, yet that gets reported and is suspendable. Hypocrites who fob off this particular incident by Judd, simply ignore that it is a pre-meditated, deliberate striking offence.

Are you stupid? Gehrig's 'love tap' wasn't just "reportable" - it was reported and he was suspended! It was used as a comparison for what Goodes did, and in another thread when discussing Goodes. Nothing to do with whether it is right or not, and absolutely nothing to do with this issue.

Was it just me, or did anybody else think it a possibility that Tadhg's injury could have been attributed to Pickett seeing an iopportunity to do some damage and taking it? I havn't seen a replay yet, but it crossed my mind at the time.

I agree; I don't think there was anything malicious from Byron in the tackle at all, just a swirling mass of legs that caught Tadhg at an awkward angle.

I didn't think that it was Pickett necessarily seeing it as an opportunity, however in his usual way his tackling has little regard to boundaries. I thought the follow-through of the tackle was completely unnecessary (and should have been a free kick).

At the same time though, just as Kennelly tried to run past Pickett, I was wondering why our guys kept thinking they could outrun Davey and Pickett.

You made a pretty idiotic statement such as "Yes, but if you run in and elbow/forearm a guy in the back behind play, it will be looked at. In the same way that a lovetap from Gehrig earned him a week off", but totally ignore Judd's actions as nothing. YOU made the statement. If you don't agree with such scrutiny, why make the statement? So if I don't agree with someone getting cited I shouldn't say that it may happen? The commentators also said that it will be looked at. I don't think you understand the difference between observing the circumstances of an event and what you hope the outcome to be. It must be a burden to not understand the difference - do you also yell at news readers when they read out bad news...?

Again you are inventing things. I've not been apologetic towards WC. Rather I've observed your pathological obsession - "he must be guilty because he's from WC". Yes, now that's sensible...
