Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

I can't believe that anyone is even SUGGESTING that we play Moore or Schmidt INSTEAD of Noggie. Noggie is a relentless machine that never gives in and never gives an inch. Like all players, he'll make a clanger or two but his value isn't in posessions alone. Given some latitude by the coacxh or his opponent, he can be a game winner.

Schmidt and Moore are no where near the quality of Ablett. They may be one day, but to suggest that he should be replaced by either is ludicrous. Injury, fair enough. But not omission for either of these guys.

I rarely associate the words 'quality' and 'Luke Ablett' in the same sentence!

You're entitled to your opinions of course, but I kind of like the guy. Coachability is important, and he's always been a good kick. His goalkicking accuracy could be better, but he's no different from his teammates in this regard! I reckon he can get better, still. For a big dumb hound, he goes alright! Keep holding on to those truffles, Noggie...

Maybe we need another Luke Ablett appreciation thread

i agree, im new to RWO, but have been a swans supporter for years, the thing i like about ablett is that he's such a little tryer, always gives his best IMO. His match ups are often on quality players so if he shuts them down, then his lower possession count doesnt bother me
