One of the hardest players to match up on in the competition, the versatile Swans forward has had a subdued start to 2007 by his lofty standards. With the Roos' defence already stretched by the need to throw Drew Petrie forward, this game may present his best chance to break the shackles of past weeks

I am sure some writers assess forwards by nothing more than how many goals they kick

Some interest facts about the Kangaroos game.

It will the first time since 1998 that the Swans and the Kangaroos have played a game in Victoria; and only the second time since the 1996 Grand Final. Since 1998 they have each other played 14 times: 9 times at the SCG and 5 times at Manuka.

If the Swans win, it will only the second time since 1989 that they have won the majority (that is at least 4) of their first 6 games in the home and away season. The only other occasion since 1989 was in 1998, when they won their first 5 games that year.

Sorry to kind of change the subject a bit, but are any RWOers meeting up at the Colonial pre-game like we normally do? (Queue to Ando to make an official announcement)

              I'll be there from 4:30-5pm I think.
