As good as our 4th qtr was, the Roos thoroughly deserve this win. I hate that it's at our expense but I'll enjoy watching Laidley give Carey the two-finger salute.
Accolades to Ablett and Schneider - excellent 4 qtr efforts.

Sigh. Done in the first quarter, just like Geelong were last week. If we'd stopped the rot early, we could have come back with our superior fitness... but you can't just let a side romp away to a 5 goal lead like that.

Plenty of soul searching to be done. We will have some blokes come back in soon, but we NEED to put another couple of wins on the board in the meantime.

Glad to see Jack get some touches in that frantic final term. Certainly didn't look out of his depth.

That must be the first time in a few years we have lost a game yet kicked more than 12 goals. Was the last time in that Roos' comeback in 2004?

Great second half, yet again we failed in the first half and it cost us the game. I have to give credit to the Roos, they ran rampant in the beginning and had enough to survive a fourth quarter onslaught by Sydney.

As for the other match, listening to it on ABC radio and is dead quiet because Collingwood are beating the Crows convincingly. Looks like another crap tipping round for me again...
