    Bolton J v Spriggs

If Spriggs had have been drafted to the club and become one of the 'Bloods' and Bolton had have come via Geelong (or somewhere else) with his undoubted endeavour but ordinary skills (Spriggs' greatest failing) would Spriggs be an integral component of our dynamic midfield and Jude be playing in the VFL?

Similar players IMO - to be honest, I would love to have the chance to throw Spiggs into the midfield this season and give him one last crack at an AFL career.

ROK...I take your point. I think a few years ago B1 was clearly a better package than Spriggs...now that difference would only be the "in & under" comparison. Frankly I don't think the Spriggs package would make a difference to our prospects this year, but B1 is a real problem.

I really struggle to understand this.

J Bolton is very highly rated in Melbourne and would walk into any of the 10 teams.

True he is struggling for form, but to compare him to Spriggs and some weird analogy about being in the "bloods culture" has me confused.

He is and continues to be in our best 22.

Spriggs career finished when Rioli ran off him from half way to score a goal.

        Rightly so.
