I agree, Schmidt very unlucky. As for Bevan, he is very lucky (thinking back to 2005 GF). Rediculous change going on all reports of Bevans performance in the twos. Way to much 'who ya know' or 'what you've done' going on at this club lately.

Can't remember being more pissed off with a team selection than that.

Moore unfortunate but we could see it coming.

Schmidt stiff as anything. When he and Bevan have played alongside each other in the twos, he's been the more consistent player. He is the incumbant, he's done little wrong, he could be part of the solution to the centre clearance problem, he can kick the odd goal etc etc

Only apparent thing going against him is that he isn't a premiership player.

He also doesn't present as many "2 League kids playing AFL together" story opportunities.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I wont be surprised if the canon doesnt come up, and schmidt comes back in.

Guessing that McVeigh would have been told he's on thin ice, but to the outside community it's easier to drop schmidt than mcveigh.

Either that or I'm talking nothing but pancakes.

            What a rort for Schmidt!

Bevan's last chance is now. No If's or Buts. If he doesn't perform he can forget about his place in the senior side.

Why oh why would you bring this boof head back. If the posters on here on the 2's last week are on the mark then it is a farce.

He has got no idea as a footballer, they must be living on distant memories. Who picks the side anyway.

How must these young footballers feel with this absolute lemon being elevated ahead of them. You can bet the family jewels that the young players would be told week in week out that they only have to keep up the good form in the 2's and they will get their chance. Yeh, fat chance. All it can do is deflate them and dent their enthusiasm.

Have some balls Roos and get a bit daring and add some spice to the team and a bit of pace for gods sake. Blind Freddy could see that pace was our big problem last week, and then you promote the bloody tortoise of the club.

Whatever happened to the premise that teams are picked on form? Apparently I have NFI how to judge how a player performs in a game. The only bright spot is that we will have TWO attacking midfielders: Cracker didn't get dropped. I hope I can assume that Cracker will be allowed to play his natural game this week. I suppose that is too much to hope for.

Very disappointed. If Roos and his selections team's brains were made of dynamite, it wouldn't ruffle their bloody hair.

Appalling. I feel incredibly angry on Schmidt's behalf. His crime is clearly that he's not defensive enough, can actually hit a target, and has quick hands. I guess and we need more blue collar @@@@ing Cortinas in there and he doesn't fit the bill.

Obviously seconds form means nothing. Why Roos persists with Bevan is beyond me. He's a hack.

Great news. Shows how seriously the Swans treat the 2's and the extent of the scare that Saturday's match against Belconnen sent through the club.

Bewildering and that's from someone who thinks Bevan isn't as bad as some others.

I can only imagine how Schmidt feels about being dropped. As for Moore, he must wonder how others get a decent run to sort themselves out and he gets grace of one game. Just farcical.

Based on the idiotic selection of Philips from the rookie list last year (proven by hindsight to have been just ridiculous), followed by playing Grundy straight back from injury just to destroy the kids confidence (again, proven by hindsight to be silly). Now this.

The funny part is that RWO posters picked all three as stupid and all three turned out to be stupid.

Is the 'bloods' culture somehow wrapped up in this? Does Bevan has a premiership tattoo on his arse that gives him membership of a select group. Did 'the playing group' decide they like Bevan more than Schmidt.

If you can't tell, L.A. is pissed off.

..and, as per earlier opinion, I think Buchanan is over-rated. His kicking is atrocious. Been watching him. It's because he kicks across his body too often. Would rather see Moore in the team.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

You would expect that if we dont start working on the future a lot of these boys who are showing plenty in the 2's will be asking their managers to look around.

Every coach I have ever heard says that a player needs 50 games under the belt before they start to know what the game is about. When our incumbents fade away we will have a group as inexperienced as the Richmond boys the way things are going. Then Roosey will skip off into the sunset to the States as a premiership coach, and leave us all to to lamenet and wallow in our self pity and mediocrity if we can get to that level. Never again do I want to see 16 goals to a few points at half time.

Am I as mad as hell? You bet I am.
