Swans not live against the gate next week?

Just watching the great match between the Dogs and Demons today and at the end they discussed the C7 games next week, to which they said the Sydney V Port match would be at 3pm on Sunday in Sydney and Brisbane.

I can't find a TV guide for next Sunday, but if true, this would be the first time we haven't gone live against the gater in Sydney on a Sunday for a long long time. Are the V8s on Sunday?

Just found the listing on the 7 Yahoo site.

    2007 AFL Premiership Season
    3:00pm - 5:00pm | Seven Sport
Watch all the action as the Sydney Swans take on Port Adelaide at the SCG. The last couple of years have seen the Swans gain a reputation as slow starters to the season, while the "Power" has shown good early season form this year. You can bank on a tough physical game as the Swans are renowned for their one-on-one accountable style, yet Port is rated highly for winning the ball in dispute.

So a delayed and reduced telecast. Not a big deal to most of us, as we will be there, but I really can't remember a time the Swans haven't been on FTA live on a Sunday in Sydney.

Will be live and in full on Fox Sports Nationwide though.

I find it laughable that CH7 paid BIG $$$$$ for the rights and so far, AFAIK, haven't shown one game live into Melbourne. They've all been delayed, even th odd Non-vic game they have shown has been on delay.

I think the go with Melb on Sunday's is to get the Football to lead into the news.

Few times this season I've turned on C7 on a Sunday afternoon to watch the footy, only to find nothing starting for another hour. Not sure what they did today - was watching the Geelong Weagles game on Fox and didn't flick over to the C7 game until that was nearly over.

Anyone know if 3pm start is a constant for C7 or does it vary a bit?

            It's a constant for Melbourne.

Sydney get the 2pm game live unless Brisbane or Sydney are the 1.10pm game, and then we get that live (or in next week's case, at 3pm, due to V8s I think).

C7 have started the 2pm game after 3pm in Sydney once due to V8s, but it crossed to the live action, as opposed to Melbourne who get it delayed in full from 3pm.

They tend to go live - 3pm is not standard. They played in Subi today, so 3pm here was 1pm there.

I'm thinking next week's game is some weird exception.
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector

...and people here were trying to tell me that it would be better when 7 had the rights.
