Looks like something might just have "clicked" for Brabazon. That's three weeks in a row now that he's been listed as near the best.

Anyone know if Grundy and Vogels played? It's pretty unusual to see neither on the score sheet at all. (Or am I going blind?)

Man, as good as that is, the whole NSW/ACT comp is a farce. When I was at the Syd/Melb SCG game, to see that 250/14 score between the Swans and Canberra flash on the scoreboard was a tragedy.

It's been debated many times on this forum but I just can't place any stock in any standout individual performance in that comp.

The 6 best seem to be doing it pretty often. You could probably bring in 3 of the midfielders to replace Crouch, Bolton and McVeigh and they could hardly have done worse over the last 2 weeks. Yes and what about Rowe. A tall player who would have been a better punt than Jack for promotion. Blind Freddy knows we need a tall somewhere on the ground.

Vogels didn't play, apparently done something to his knee at training friday, nothing serious, just out for this week. Not sure about Reg.

Seems that Brabazon, Laidlaw, Thornton, Rowe and Simpkin are in the best players most weeks. Surely they have to get a guernsey soon.

I was told by a reliable source that Schmidt was fantastic,very flashy.Also Moore,another midfielder played well with heaps of possessions.When DOK is up and running we should have a pretty competitive midfield.
Surely the Schmidthouse will come in for McVeigh this week.
