    Mickey O to the backline

I know he was tried there along time ago would he be up to it now he would add pace skill & class especially when opposition teams congest our forward line, then we could try other options up forward.
I feel we are to predictable at the moment.

No. Too slow, he is best alluding defenders than chasing forwards.

Also, a large part of his value is his unpredictability, the ability to create something that no-one else expects usually including his team mates. When it works it looks fantastic and often a scoring chance is created but it is high risk and sometimes results in a turnover. That's fine up forward but in defence you want your team mates to know what you're about to do, even if Leo sometimes belies that idea.

O'Loughlin probably could play more predictability but then we'd be losing one of his - and the team's - better assets.

        Ridiculous.

I just meant that it would be great to have someone receive from Leo Barry and show some evasive skill like the way Davey did for Melbourne and the way Mcleod does for Adelaide and pop up in the forward line sometimes
Yeah he's told old and lacks the stamina.

Good shot. Some time ago, you may have just been on the mark. Not these days. Quite happy see MOL spend his finals years up forward, then, after that, who knows.......
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector

He's institutionalised now. Even if he did have the stamina and speed (I still think he's pretty quick), he knows only one way...I remember a couple of years ago the Blues (vs Saints) were getting smashed so Pagan put Fevola on Gehrig....big mistake, tore any shred of confidence Fev may have had. There is an art to being a backman....Micky O wouldn't know how.

Micky has played across half back and in the midfield before. Did it quite well, but I think those days are behind him. I would play him as a permanent half forward for a few weeks. Instead of asking him to take contested marks (which he struggles to do) let him be creative across half-forward. Bring Doyle in - rotate him, Everitt and Jolly through FF, ruck and the bench.

When they are fit, Kennelly and Dempster can do this, as can Malceski and Davis, the thing is to drill it into the minds of the defenders that this is what you have to do, get it to some one who can out run the opposition.

Sure why not, and then we could place Phillips as Full Back aswell.

Different cup of tea trying to take a mark when the balls being kicked in by your opponent.....

Think MOL would get slaughtered in the back line.

Better get yourself a history lesson buddy.

MOL played his first couple of years on a HBF and pretty bloody good to boot.

He wouldn't be worth a cracker down there now, injuries and fitness wouldn't allow it, but I can guarantee he 'would know how'.
