Who to barrack for this Saturday?

The answer: Norwood in the SANFL. If you want the Swans to win Sunday, that is.

Last 4 weeks, they've won when the Swans have won (once) and lost when the Swans have lost (3 times). That's right: 3 weekends out of 4 where both of my teams have lost. How lame is that?

Anyhoo, the game they won was by 50 points: the Swans won by 49 (and I'm sure we were robbed of the odd rushed behind somewhere). Two weeks ago Sydney lost by 16 points, the Redlegs by 15. They even did the palindrome thing last weekend: the Legs lost by 62 points, the Swans by 26. Feeling spooked yet?

West Adelaide v Norwood, Broadspectrum Oval, 2:00pm ACST, radio commentary streaming on www.life.on.net. Follow it and make a killing with the bookies on the result of Sunday's game.

I know: time to leave the internet far, far behind.

    Nice work Simon.

But are you sure that's not www.getalifeandstopspendingsomuchtime.on.net ?
And the man who started it all, the Schneiderman . . . . .

The Legs got up! 4 goals down in the 3rd quarter, came back to win by 11 points!

          Get on the Swans.

            Thank heavens for Norwood.

First game of aussie rules that I ever attended was between Sturt and Norwood at the Adelaide Oval back in the eighties. Even before I saw the Swans. Couldn't tell you who won though.

Norwood upset Port Adelaide by 30 pts at Alberton (Port's home ground) on the w/e, in a game where they basically led all day and never looked like losing.

By my count, that's 6 weeks of matching results. Norwood playing Glenelg at home on Friday night, 7:40pm ACST. Check the results and make a killing with the bookies on the Dons game.

The only killing you'll make is if Glenelg win and we have to back the scum. Doubt any of us have the bankroll to get rich backing the Swans at the price they will be.

On top of that, the 'whoever sits in the middle seat on the footy show' hoodoo has been blown to pieces as well, so the Norwood jinx may not hold up much longer.

Norwood won 100-67 tonight. Level at half time, then kicked away in the 3rd.

Go the 7 in a row tomorrow night.

Whoops. Norwood got an on-the-final-quarter-siren goal that they could have loaned the Swans, too. Nice theory while it lasted.
