Realistically there are only a couple of key ingredients missing at the moment.
1. Run
We are stagnant. This could be the opposition tactics but we are just not moving the ball fast enough out of the opposition defense. Kennelly has had some effect in this regard, but it is a bigger problem than that.
2. Intensity
Our intensity towards the ball and the opposition has dropped substantially. This is shown by a) our lack of tackles per game b) the amount of possession the opposition is getting c) our lack of inside 50s. This is particularly evident in the past 3 losses. Our lack of intensity has also effected our skill level as we are seen rushing rather than in clear space.
3. Ball Handling
Because of our lack of intensity and run we are fumbling the ball, we are not composed and we are under extra undue pressure that we should not be under.
If we improve 1 and 2, 3 will come.
If we do this, you'll see amazing improvement I feel....
