This is monumental news, Crouch dropped. Finally someone has the nuts to eject an appalling out of form favourite. Next week please select on form and not favourites and let us see some real infusion of new blood.

Hey watching Adelaide in the first Q tonight they have some real no names playing well as do the Tiges. Funny Adelaide have been up there with us for the last 2 years and been able to find more than a couple of handy footballers. Injuries have forced them to find them but lack of form for us hasn't prompted us to find a few.

Crouch was not terribly out of form from the games I've seen. I can understand sending him back to get some fitness, but Roos seemed to be suggesting he was all but done for.

Wonder if it has anything to do with his apparent rift with Everitt...

Crouchy has been trying to tell Spida all his tatts didnt look nice against the red and white.
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

Lets see if he/she can keep his/her 100% record.

Old Man Pop was spot on again with his selection!!

Derr, Roosey does not pick the team remember, the leadership group does. Crouchy got a detention for dobbing on Spida. Spida is Barry's mate, and because he has tats, the leadership group think he is cool. They think Crouch is a wanker.

Crouch is one of those endangered players like Paul Lacuria,Jason Johnstone just to name a few who can only do certain roles.IMO they dont have enough strings to their bows so they could be on their way out at the end of the season.

Interestingly, AFL gameday live lists the team with no Schneider or McVeigh yet includes Grundy and Crouch.
We demand rigidly defined areas of doubt and uncertainty.

My gut feeling this morning is Crouch will play. All these media articles are club sanctioned and contrived. I doubt he will get boned before his 200th.

Probably my penchant for conspiracy theories meant that I read too much into all the articles of the week. Ah well nobody's perfect.

Nah Nico, they cut him off. He was the sacrifice, the example, the scapegoat. I noticed benny got a mention in Roosey's post match comments - all I heard he was praising his taggers who "shut down" Port. We had 11 goal kickers and kicked more goals than points. That had plenty to do with it too.

Would you believe we missed 7 set shots with only 2 from more than 45% and missed 3 running into open goal under no pressure from 30 metres. We should have won by 10+ goals. We get that to half of those misses and we will be very hard to beat in any game with that intensity.
