But he brings NOTHING to this struggling team.

The AFL statistician Mr Hutchinson (forget his first name) said on radio today that Bevo is the 3500th player in the history of the game to play 50 games. That means he would be only the 7th player to have his 50th fall on a quincentenary of a group of players. One of the most remarkable statistics of sporting history.

What a milestone to have hanging over the cruet when the forms not too flash and is probably the no.22 of the side at the mo. If he plays a shocker and gets dropped and never plays a game again that would be a corker of a trivia night question. Hope for his sake he plays his second blinder of his career.

Nico...I often share your views...but hardly one of the most remarkable stats in sports history...purely a statistical fall out ...unremarkable as befits a most unremarkable player. Not even in the top 25 at the club IMO.

OK... he got his 50th game... Much the same way Sam Newman got his 300th, by being carried....

Now can we get someone decent in?? He's just so under done at the moment.

As for his premiership medal, think he touched the ball twice from memory and was left on the bench for good reason. Notwithstanding, he did play well up until that game and deserved to be in the team on that day. He doesn't at the moment though.

Not the most attractive player to watch but well done to him.
