The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.
Our medical staff are the only ones in form at the moment.

A shot of cortizone anyone?
We need him back, but not at the potential expense of his whole season. Hasn't it now come out that we've been playin a heap of players with injuries fro a long time? Not good. The apparent super swans have just been soldiering on.
I don't think he'll play - he said yesterday that part of the medial ligament had torn from the bone. Also said he was having 5-6 hours of treatment a day.
I hope he doesn't play. Seems like a real rush given the prognosis not too long ago.

Given that they've not said what exactly he did, how do we know it's a bad idea? Look at Cressa when he popped his - he was back the next week! He had surgery post-season to clean up the cartilage but he was right to play within days. Given that Tadhg's popped straight back in, I'd hazard a guess that he gave a couple of ligaments and tendons a bit of a pull which caused enough problems to keep him out for 3 weeks, but if he didn't actually tear anything or damage the cartilage badly enough to impair function then there would be no reason why he couldn't be right to play. He might be just a tad down on match fitness, but he's not going to regain that sitting on a bike, so if he's looking right and trained well, bring it on!
He missed two games. I seem to recall they said 6-8 weeks initially and even last week they were saying another 3-4.

But seriously, it'll be 3 weeks tomorrow since it happened, so it's not a bad length of time to return, not the best either, but if he's right it's not like we can't use him!
