    Rift in "The Bloods"?

Spida bite sends chills through Swans
Everitt suggested the midfield "is probably the part that's let us down the most", but this led to tagger Jared Crouch raising the possibility that footballers can be too honest.

Crouch said yesterday that Everitt's honesty could land Spida in trouble with the Swans' leadership group.

His comments indicated possible friction within the team and also provided aninsight into the team's culture.
    The truth hurts, maybe!!
Swans coach Paul Roos, however, applauded Everitt for his honesty as thet team prepared for Sunday's game against Port Adelaide at the SCG.

Full marks for Spida for coming out and saying what he feels, without the tow the club line BS.
Hopefully his honesty does put him off side with the powers that be, within the club.

That's right Crouch, let's just go back to the drab football cliches "we're taking it one week at a time, the Bloods spirit will see us through, I have faith in Roosy and the boys."

If Davis had said this, where would Nick be now? I am sure the leadership gorup would have sent him to the ressies for the week. These guys need to get over themselves.

Crouch sounds like the snitch from The Longest Yard that would report back to the warden when someone was doing wrong.

Perhaps this is the type of thing that will bring out the best in the players - Don't forget Roosy has supported Everitt in this. Everitt is also laying blame on himself for his own form.

This may get the players to shut up and keep it all in house from here on in.

I reckon that comment says more about Crouch and where his football is at the moment than anything else. It's not like Everitt said anything that isn't painfully obvious.

I reckon the Swans are gone! Once the in-fighting begins the team is gone!

too true, he is looking more for something to blame, than himself.

Crouch desperately needs to find fitness and form in the reserves, and I would expect him to spend at least 4 matches there finding it.

And I applaud spida for what he said, besides every swans supporter is saying it, roosy is saying it, spida is the first player to say it.

Is Crouch breaking the secret society by speaking to the media to suggest that Spida may be punished for speaking to the media? The secret isn't a secret when you tell someone to make the point of it being a secret secret, secret.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

There's so much flowery rhetoric bull comes out of this club it really kills me. Barry Hall says in his column, 'we've cut back on the meetings this week and done some more hard training'. Well, stone me! Who had that genius idea?

Train hard, play accountable footy, get the skills right and once or twice a game, please, please, please go up the guts or play direct footy!!!

I'd love to here this from the commentators this week:

'Kennelly kicks to himself and peels off to the left. Delivers a good lo0ng ball to O'Keefe just left of centre. O'Keefe turns, has a look. Sees Hall on the lead. Ignores that option. Goes straight to the middle of the fifty where Nick Davis has ran hard to get into space. Mark! Nick doesn't even look fro an option. He knows he can kick this if he backs himself. Goal Swans!"

                        ...no chance...

Why play on quickly through the centre when you can create at least two stoppages on the wing?

Why long to Nick Davis when you can kick to Barry Hall wide in the pocket?

One quote from Crouch with no context - not time to lynch him yet.
