Tiger was good but Mal's game was near perfect. Claely compliment each other but the great thing today was Barry and Bolton we able to get the run back into their games with Kennelly and Dempster back.

The two of them form a double barrel shotgun. The Eski plays better with Irish in, maybe because he gets a lesser (although lesser players in Port have still been very good this year!) oposition player?

Could be just conincidence, however, Tiger was taken off early in the last quarter when we looked comfortably ahead and then Port charged. Only when Tiger came back on did we start to settle.

He is such an important player for us!!

Roos mentioned that at the after match.

When Luffy asked him did he expect Tadgh to have as much gametime as he had, Roos said they decided to give him a breather when the game looked safe, but 4 Port goals later, they had to get him back on !!

Very true. Just having a look at the results so far this year.
Granted we weren't a chance of beating our bogey team in Adelaide we've won every game and lost one by a point with him playing, when he wasn't we lost in an upset and couldn't play our normal game against the roos or St Kilda.

Good that he's back, but if such a trend continues it could be worrying when he departs.
That's the problem with modern day medicine - there's no more natural selection of the species.
No wonder there's so many Collingwood fans.

Perhaps it is his infectious enthusiasm for the contest and ball, his hard running and effort that encourages others around him to do the same. Our run off the half back line was superb yesterday, some risk taking and oh my gosh some free flowing footy...and how good it was to watch!!

Well he is signed up until 2009. He is due to leave with Roos, Kirk, Hall, O'Loughlin, Barry etc.

I think we will be in serious trouble in 2010....
