While Luke is best remembered for that kick in the 05 GF, have a look at the SF against Gellong at see how many times he forced the ball forward thru sheer desperation. No skill involved. But he was as important in that game as was the finisher (Mr 4 Goals).

Apart from the goals and the siren of course, one of my favourite things from that game is Ablett almost knocking that guys head off to keep the ball in play in the last few minutes.

Yep look at some of the stats that backmen build up these days by chipping around when the opposition is flooding! Buit like it or not stats are facts.

BTW sorry, but I couldn't put a tongue in cheek smiley at the end of my last post.

Yes! That is one of my favourite footy memories and brings a smile to my face whenever I think of that game. I could never imagine Gary Jnr or Nathan doing that.

Apart from the 4 goals in the last qrtr, that passage of play that led up to the final goal was incredible. IIRC Malcolm Blight asks the question more than once, "How good is that?"

Meanwhile Gary jr and Nathan will be hanging around Sleepy hollow being worshiped by the bogans.... with possibly no peer to equal their ego's....sadly I think wondering what might have been.... with pressure on their family &sons!

I luv watching Gary jnr but feel sorry for him in that up & down rabble.

We have yet to see the best of Luke!!! I'd take him anyday!
                Bravo Yakety Yak...couldn't agree more

Perfect example of one-eyed support -- no one else would pick LA over GA.

Yeah that seems fair, but I am more than happy to have Luke at Sydney.

True, but he has no skill or footy smarts so he is a crap footy player(rolls eyes)
