    Port V Geelong (Spoliers)

Geelong up by 71 points at Half Time. Double eek considering this game is at AAMI.

Geelong defeated Port by 57 points, I wasn't expecting that at all. The Cats are looking really good at the moment and I'm hoping they flog the Aints next Sunday.

Port are facing the in-form Hawks next Sunday at AAMI. History should favour Port easily since their last couple of encounters at AAMI resulted in Port flogging Hawthorn by over 100 points but times are changing and this year it might be a real contest after all.

I looked at my tips this morning and said "why did I pick Port?"

I bet your answer was "because it's at AAMI Stadium and Geelong can't play footy outside of Victoria." That's what I thought but I realised that Port don't actually have a functioning forward line, but it was too late to change my tip.

That's what I thought too. I was influenced by the home ground advantage, although 26,000 supporters (looked like less than that to me though) in the almost 50,000 capacity AAMI stadium isnt exactly terrifying for the opposition.

Port are nothing more than April premiers. Bye Wharfies.
