    Photos from Manuka

Lovely sunny day at Manuka Oval yesterday. Managed to get down to the fence a couple of times for a few minutes and rattled off some shots. I think I got some good ones despite being stuck behind the official media togs and suffering a mild case of lens envy...

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

    as always des, great photos.
it was a great day, wasn't it?
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Who was envious? You or the "togs"?

You'll have a duty free opportunity to resolve that envy in a few weeks!

        Totally agree.

The shots of Spida and Goodes are just brilliant. Definately print, get signed and frame material.

Good to hear you enjoyed them satch

It's not often the conditions are so nice and the venue casual enough to get close enough for good photos, so I always drag the camera along. Normally I only bother doing the reserves because my regular seats at the SCG are too far from the boundary.
