    Has McVeigh turned the corner?

We've slagging the boy off over the last few weeks and baying for his blood, but after the last two games, he's probably lifted a bit.

    What's everyones thoughts??

Is he still in need of dropping??? Or has he done enough to start to justify the selection commitee's faith in him???

No. Still @@@@e. Some easy disposals in no pressure situations don't redeem him.

Doing OK. But still not where he needs to be.

He's turned the corner. Been pretty crap up until now but I've liked his last couple of games.

He does his job and deserves his spot.

you know the answer to this rp. mcveigh needs to spend some time in the reserves.
imo, he's still making too many stoopid mistakes.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

If nothing else, his haircut shows he's got confidence.

Even a clown would be embarrassed about getting around with roadkill on their head.

McVeigh is a bit of a downhill skiier - does okay when the rest of the team does, but struggles otherwise. This, to me, suggests his future is perhaps limited.

It looks somewhat similar to his early 2005 model.

Still a big Mcveigh supporter but even i admit he's only doing 'Just' enough to warrant a place in the senior side. Still havent seen him try and take on a game by the scruff of the neck like Malceski can. He's just a decent/OK squad player atm.

i voted more harshly than i think of him as i couldn't actually say he's going okay. has shown enough improvement in the last couple of weeks to keep his position on the basis that he continues to steadily improve.

should be dropped if he loses form again soon.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

I'm a big fan of him and really want him to do well, my biggest concerns at the moment are
                    1. He doesn't back himself- I don't think his insincts are bad, but he seems far too nervous out there and does taken the first option. It is fine to weigh up the options, but I think one of the big issues for him is that he currently appears to look at his first option then automatically dismiss it when sometimes he should just back his instincts.
                    2. His muscles (legs in particular) seem to have hardly any strength in them. He was able to shrug off a tackle on the weekend, I think that would have to be the first time I have seen him do that in the seniors in a long time (and he did seem almost confused by it!).
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
