    My Dilemma

Next saturday as we all know the Swans are playing against the Dons but that night the socceroos also take on Uruguay and the Wallabies take on Wales and I'm not sure what I'm gonna watch. Is anyone else in the same situation?

any advice? I can at least watch the Swans and the Wallabies at the same time on 2 tvs at home, then maybe I could stream the Socceroos game via the net. I'm guessing you'll probably say watch the swans, the other 2 games are merely friendlies
2005, year of the swan, Demetriou was wrong so we sing this song...

"Cheer, cheer the red and the white,
Honour the name by day and by night....."

    watch the swans.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Normally I would just say go to your favourite out of all three, but the Soccer would be a total nothing game if we had not qualified for the World Cup against them, it is all hype, I think a lot of people are expecting the same type of night, but that will be impossible to match....and the Wallabies were horrific on Saturday night, they really have lost the plot.

Obvious bias here I know, but I really do think the Swans are the top ticket for Saturday night.

Well naturually being biased, watch the Swannies live.

Can you tape the soccer and watch it after the Swans game? As for the Woefullbies and their shocking performance last Saturday night I think that would be the least attrcative sporting option of the three to watch so I would give that a miss.
            Swannies for life!

The Socceroos v Uruguay game in late 2005 was one of the most exhillerating sporting moments ever. There was so much at stake, and it went down to the wire. But this time there's nothing at stake, no reason to hate them and boo their national anthem, the top players won't be there, even if it's tied up at full-time there'll be no extra time or penalty shootout - it's hard to see that it'll be anything other than a flat anti-climax this time.
And the Wallabies fumbling and bumbling to just fall over the line against a third-string Wales side - yawn city. Don't bother.

Get your arse to the SCG. That's where the real action will be.

As if you wouldn't be at the SCG for the game! 8th v 9th and its gonna be a cracker. Can't wait to see Alwyn Davey live for a 2nd time, he was phenomenal last time!

And more to the point why ask on a Swans forum?

I'm with Damien on this one, the Swans-Bombers game does look to be the best bet, and I'm being as unbiased as I can! The Wallabies look sick atm, and the Socceroos game will struggle to reach the levels of the WC qualifier.

Though Alwyn Davey was hurt against the Tigers (concussion), so they may give him a week's rest. Pity if he misses, coz he was coming in handy for DT points.

                        Edit: LOL @ ugg.

U-r-gay will smash the Aussies, in possibly the biggest anti-climax of the year. Just watch the Swannies!!
