Hird's Send-off - to cheer or to jeer?

    Hird's send off

Personally, I'll be cheering. A modern champ, perhaps only bowing to Voss among the Big 4 (including Buckley & Harvey) and even then having better longetivity than Voss. Imagine what it would have been like to watch Kelly & Hird together in the same side? Their greatest danger may have been each other!

Hopefully, we'll get to sing "Cheer, Cheer" a few times & then an opportunity to acknolwedge a champ.

I never jeer players during games - stoney silence is what they get.

But so long as the Swans win he'll get a cheer from me at the end of the game. One of the best players to grace the game over the past decade. Can recall standing and screaming during games "WHO'S ON XXXXXX HIRD?"

One of the champions of the game and a fair player...he will get an applause at the end. It will have more enthusiasm if we win though!
      Swannies for life!

How on earth could anyone even consider jeering Hird.

He plays for Essenscum you dumb @@@@@. I suppose you feel sorry for him for getting his face smashed in that time. What sort of a fan are you, you dickhead. I suppose you think Sheedy is a better coach than Roos too you arsehole. My only regret is that I cannot take glass bottles into the ground any more. I would throw them at him. And if he ran up to the fence for a pansy hug I would glass the @@@@er - send the pretty boy show pony back to his plastic-@@@@ing-surgeon.

Sorry - I'm not being a real supporter. I'll start praying for a serious injury and a suspension.

As long as it happens at some stage that will satiate the hate for some time!
