    Time for changes

The old guard have been given long enough.

Time to select the team on form.

J Bolton, Bevan and McVeigh really should be looked at.

    Same with Mathews.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

OK Barry, who would you select after they played the Canberra Wildcats - or whatever their name is?

The ACTAFL is @@@@ and we are paying the price - but I am keen to hear who you think would have made a difference.

McVeigh has done nothing for 10 weeks now.
Grundy looked good last week, yet was dropped.
Schmidt, Moore have all looked more promising than McVeigh, and if they had 10 games under their belt we'd be better off.

Hows that for a start. You cant blame the ACT league for seniors selecting seniors.

agreed mcveigh offers nothing, bevan ...out.....well we all said it when he came in ........bring back schmidt bring back schmidt and yes b1 is really off his game , and amon he does great things but he really should not be allowed to kick at goal......although he did get the winning goal in the big one in 05.
and our clangers, we make richmond look good and that is bad real bad.
time for changes starting with the first 3 names mentioned. who comes in schmidt, crouch, laidlaw, jack, maybe vogels as another target upfront seeing though hall had his worst game ever for us.

The work by McVeigh and Mathews to turn their backs and stay with their man when there is a loose ball 5 metres away is great bloods like commitment

I've said a number of times that Mathews is a selfish footballer. McVeigh is just clueless.

I have serious doubts about Vogels. Plus when Benny plays ressies he actually looks good - he can play, but infuriatingly plods along in the firsts. The step up required from the actaffle is huge. Players dropped on form look a class above the rest & those who finally get a start in the firsts look out of their depth.

Well, Jack can't come back. He's back on the rookie list now tht LRT has returned to playing football.

Vogels hasn't impressed me in the reserves this year, while Thornton, Brabazon and Laidlaw have all been up and down.

On today's performance I think Schmidt definitely deserves a recall. He was superb.

Don't really care who it is for. I am loathe to single out individuals based on tonight because all but a couple were pretty ordinary. Mathews has generally been good this year and if Roos wants that very defensive midfielder in the team, he's the best option. He was extremely ordinary tonight though.

I'd like Grundy to get an extended run but not sure who for. A lack of targets up forward isn't the problem. We all know that Barry can mark the ball and kick goals. And Reg wouldn't have found anymore space there today than the rest. The problem is more a team one of finding ways to work through the uber-flood. Seems they haven't actually learned much from the first four rounds and there is now a clear blue-print available for how to beat us unless we can start being smarter.

Didn't really notice McVeigh doing anything overly good or bad but if I ever get around to watching a replay, I might change my mind.

I heard a rumour McVeigh spent the night in the bar. Watched the game on the telly.

I don't think he even watched the game on TV!

Schmidt for McVeigh is an easy one.

                            Stanton?
