Gerard was fine with the booing - thought it showed that Sydney has come a long way. Sheehan and Walls were not happy with it. Sheehan believes there is something in the water in Sydney that has made us all go crazy! (not verbatim there btw haha).
ON GOODES: They believe there is something wrong with him. What annoyed me was that Sheehan again indicated that Goodes GOT OFF for his hit on Godfrey and had to be corrected by Gerard that he was found guilty and didn't miss a game due to good behaviour - god that annoys me.

Saint Lloyd of Diving is the guest tonight.
Thanks for the warning. I will use the Foxtel IQ to fast forward that bit
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC
You just have to laugh at the anti-Sydney bias of Walls. "They've had it good for the past few years so I don't know what they're complaining about", before seamlessly turning the discussion into another love-fest about Geelong and Hawthorn.
"As everyone knows our style of football is defensive and unattractive, and as such I have completely forgotten how to mark or kick over the years" - Brett Kirk

If there is a bandwagon to be found, Robert will be on it.
I like the "screw the rest" type of mentality, I like it when the other teams don't like us and I like it that most of the so called experts seem to be writing us off. Now all we need is for Kirk to gather the troops and get them believing that we are not a write off.
Agree about bandwagon Walls - he jumps on and off every week.
Then smug Mr Lloyd came on and said it was the most satisfying win (para-phrasing) win since finals. At least he acknowledged that the booing really got going when McPhee's out of bounds was shown on the big screen. I didn't even realise it was a trophy match, so knew nothing of his speech until I read on here that some people thought the booing was directed at him.
"[T]here are things that matter more and he's reading and thinking about them: heaven, reincarnation. Life and death are the only things that are truly a matter of life and death. Not football."
Actually, disappointingly, so do I. You kinda even felt a little happy for him given the @@@@ they've been thru in recent years. I've got to reduce my valium dose.

Indeed you do!
Occupational hazards:
I don't eat animals since discovering this ability. I used to. But one day the lamb I was eating came through to me and ever since then I haven't been able to eat meat.
