Gehrig - once a west coast criminal always a west coast criminal. As for Voss and Black, Brisbane should hand back their premierships now. It's a disgrace. With a name like Black there was always something suspicious about him. Would not suprise me if he ended up with west coast next yeat. i hate the scum.

Ah yes, I remember the victim naming and shaming Voss, Black and Gehrig following the Grand Final and it took THIS long to get into the courts. Obviously not good for Voss if he's going to be an AFL coach in the next few years.

Wasn't this the incident Jason Ball was involved in too?
I read the article but it didn't mention him, nor does FoxSports.

Apparently Ball and Crouch were at the same bar when the assault occurred but weren't involved in the incident, hence they were not charged.

I must admit I'm not entirely surprised Gehrig has become involved in something like this. He has always seemed to me like a hothead and it really doesn't seem as though it would take much to set him off. Voss & Black, well I just can't believe that they are in this. I would not have thought it was in their character.

Gehrig's family must be so proud of him.
Gehrig, 31, will face a charge of unlawful assault on a woman, while Brownlow medallist Black, 28, has been hit with counts of recklessly causing injury and assault by kicking in the early hours of September 29.
Voss, who retired from the Lions last year and works as a TV commentator for Channel 10, will front the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on August 7 on a charge of unlawful assault.

ch10 reported the other night that ball, nicks & crouchy were there (crouchy was on crutches).
it was reported (and filmed) that these three stopped to check the victims to see if they were ok.

                            bless.

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Which makes them all witnesses. Let's hope that's not Didak-style witnesses.
