Interesting that BBBBH is at the bottom of the list. Who would've guessed.

Leo Barry's figures are the most interesting I think. That he is even so far is amazing in itself (but does a 50m count as a separate free?). That he has only been involved in 18 contests that have resulted in a free kick is somewhat staggering (even more amazing if the answer to the question above is yes).

50m penalties are not counted in the FF. Leo had 1 FF and 1 FA on Sat.

It is amazing that he has given away 9 frees in 10 matches. The amount of time he spends with his hands on his hips, an head staring at the ground while his opponent lines up for goal would suggest more. But then he does that when they mark in front of him as well.

It'd be interesting to see how the key forwards fare when compared to other clubs considering BBBH (he's lost one...let's make it official) and Micky O's standing on that list.
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

McVeigh's got six free kicks this year????

Interesting, I don't recall him having that many kicks all years. Perhaps he has handballed them off??? Or are we only counting effective disposals??? That must be it.....

The free kick count on the weekend was something like 31-23 in Swans favour which is comfortably the biggest positive difference I've seen for the Swans in years. And when you consider that at one stage in the 1st qr it must have been 8-1 in favour of the Hawks we certainly got the rub of the umps after quarter time - all that whinging did pay off!!

And who can recall the last time we got goals from TWO soft 50m?

actually I read in the H-S stats that it was 29-25, but for once we got the positive.

Not suprising that Sydney has 6 players in the top 45 for 'frees against' - with three in the top ten!

                        Cheers

Yes, they had the same figure in the Tele - my figures were based on the SMH stats & my powers of mental arithmetic - you can put your own credibility factors on those sources.

High free kicks against Goodes and Buchanan aren't a good sign.
