I read in the Telegraph this morning the Crouchy was unlikely to play.
    Red & White forever.

With Ablett coming back McV or Bevan might go if LRT gets selected.
I was wrong about Gerard and his hair.

Doubtful. Past patterns of selection suggest Schmidt's head would be first on the chopping list. His best chance of staying in the team is if they decide it's not the right game to bring LRT back in.

Then, given the length of time he has been out, i would think at least 2/3 weeks n the magoos would be in order. He is not exactly an instinctive player will need the run

You would think so, but we are talking about the swans here.

He played half a game in the reserves the week we played Essendon. I heard they were planning on having an interclub game last saturday but I doubt that would have gone ahead with the weather the way it was. I'd be VERY surprised if he is selected, but stranger things have happened.

Having LRT back in side will somewhat give our defence abit more credibility. Wouldn't be too worried about how much game time his had so far.

                    Bring him in!

Our defence may lack a little height but it certainly doesn't lack credibility. It has generally been superb this year, damming up holes when the midfield was getting smashed. That's not to say it can't get better with the inclusion of LRT. He certainly provides more flexibility by freeing up B2.

But I'm not convinced of the wisdom of bringing him back into the senior team without a decent run in the twos behind him.

I doubt LRT would take Rocca even if he played - far more likely to play on Cloke.

I reckon C.Bolt will play on Cloke. Cloke does alot of running around and getting alot of the ball at HF,i think Bolts will be the only one that could keep up with him and still match it with him on one on one contests also.

                            I hope he plays.

I expect the ground to be reasonably dry, no different to normal. Forecast is fine for next couple of days, didn't rain much yesterday and won't today.

His extra height would be an asset and could play as a loose man in front of Rocca.

It'll be good to see him back in action after a long stint in the sidelines. I'd be happy for him to match up against Rocca as long he doesn't give away any stupid free kicks.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

If LRT were truly fit - ie match hardened as well as in one piece - Cloke would be close to a perfect opponent for him. LRT's not got fantastic pace but his endurance is excellent and he has the height to compete with Cloke. If he's not quite ready, Bolton is a safer option on Cloke, though he may struggle to spoil the ball if Cloke's on song. Can't see any other logical opponent for Lewis this week. He's rarely - if ever played as a loose man, and Rocca's been playing too close to goal to make him an ideal opponent.

So if he's not ready for Cloke, he probably isn't ready to play.
