Ch 7 coverage is crap.

It is terrible, isn't it? Ricky Olerenshaw sounds like the Crazy Frog dude screaming out annoucement every morning at Southern Cross Station. And David Schwarz is still mubling his way through a season where he has well & truly proven he neither has anything interesting to say nor can say it co-hierantly. Plus Commetti has spent too long majking one-liners on 9 with Dermie. He is just trying too hard to be funny whereas his best skill is calling the footy.

I watched Sandy Roberts reading the Channel 7 news tonight. Why is he no longer covering matches? Where are the good old callers like Peter Landy & Peter McKenna? What about giving Grybas a go? Or trying Rex to see how people would react to his calls on tv?

I still think the ex-ABC callers like Tim Lane are the best. They are concise & confidently eloquent in terms of their diction and on-camera demeanour,. They don't go overboard *(ie Huddo), & are balanced and fair.

I watched some of th Richmond melbourne match on Friday night, Bruce couldn't even get the players names right let alone what they were doing with the ball, he was appalling.
