we would drop hall for almost the same reason Davis was dropped last year...
someone has to get dropped and it has to be a big name...and quite frankly of all our big names he is a stand out in playing poorly ATM.
But we can't drop him for the geelong game...

definately need to be played around the field thou..no point having play FF if he can't catch/kick/do teamwork.....umm....why would we pick him again?

Hall as much as I admire him for all he has done since arriving in Sydney, in current form is a liability to Sydney.
Listening to MMM on the way out the ground seems he is still carrying niggling ankle/knee injuries (also voted by MMM as W.O.G (Worst On Ground))
Time to give him a couple of weeks away from the game (and only light training)???

I know the TEAM is playing pathetic tonight but what is the point of a player in the team who for weeks now can't even take chest marks and has no impact on a game. He is not playing as good as a 1st year player with no expereance.

I totally agree. If Grundy or Vogels play just one bad game they get dropped. Bazza should not be so immune to being dropped, especially when he has played so badly for so long.

I have not been impressed with Hall at all this season.Last night he dropped some marks that were kicked straight into his breadbasket.He seems to be a very frustrated player and is taking it out by bullying his way around the forward line.It is a difficult call but maybe it is time to drop Barry as you would any other player displaying similar form.

Maybe I'm going against the grain somewhat here, but I forced myself to sit through a replay when I got home and decided that Hall was far from our worst.

Yes - he is terribly out of form, dropping marks he'd have gobbled up in past years.

But his work rate and general efforts to get something happening were actually not bad for someone so out of form. He was trying to crash and bash - with just some poor disposal and excellent Pies defending preventing things coming off.

By no means am I trying to suggest he's anything other than in poor form but he didn't let his head drop tonight.

There are a few others who can't say the same about their games.

Mad more like. But there was method. I am on roster to write a match report this week and my video recorder has now officially packed in. Knew it was on the blink but set the timer anyway, but when I got home it seemed to have jammed itself up halfway through the game. So my only chance to see whether it was as bad on TV as it was live was to sit through it on the Fox replay. Except that I fell asleep at the start of the fourth quarter...
