    Robert Walls

The only thing worst than watching our performance on Saturday night was listening to Robert Walls continually bag our game plan.

To a certain extent he does have a point...but he was obviously on his soapbox after a falling out with Roosy. No doubt tonight he'll be singing the same tired tune during "On the couch".

So well done Robert, even though you had to wait until after 2 successive GF appearances and 12 rounds into 2007 to make your point. Your insight is amazing....genius.

    Yowser!!!

I thought I had it tough being at the game and watching it live.....

You had to sit there and listen to Walls as well??? You have my every sympathy. I feel quite lucky now after hearing about your suffering.

I thought the most annoying comments on the tv was the idiot saying "you can never write off the Swans" even when we only had 3 goals to three quarter time!

        hehhee
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Walls is absolutely right about the game plan - and most people on the board here agree. We lack variety and flexibility, we are too predictable, and the skills that enabled us to hold other teams down have deserted us.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Listening to Walls and Lane together was excruciating on Saturday night. They certainly made the misery that much more miserable.

The percentage of time spent talking about Collingwood's "terrific, young players" was really aggravating. Let's face it, Walls is never going to muster any genuine enthusiasm for anything the Swans do. Time for some Sydney-centric commentators - as we say every year

Huddo said that - I nearly fainted!
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Who really cares what Walls has to say? He bagged Sydney's tactics in 2005 along with Andy D but praised us for winning the flag, he wanted us to "smash" the Eagles and "good triumph over evil" then he publicly announced he was in love with the Eagles and now he'll probably rant on about how Roos is an incompetent coach and the Swans will achieve nothing in the next 5 years. I couldn't care less what that "expert" has to say.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore
