they missed the bit where mooney was crying.
    pity.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

      Its a great line...

" and the man who started it, the schneider-man, can kick his 4th for the quarter, and the swans are into the grand final!"

Its an awesome moment, but just look at the teams from 2 years ago.

      Sydney: Almost no changes
      Geelong: Lots of changes.

Time stands still for no man.

There's a link to a clip of Schneider's final goal in the PF right next to the Davis one on the YouTube link provided.

D'Oh. I went off on a little You-Tube tangent there.

There is a You-Tube clip of Schneider highlights. Lots of good goals, no marks. Interesting.

I don't subscribe to this taunting of the oppositon. Leave that to Big Footy. Watched this game on TV. Was depressed early on because someone had watered the SCG during the day and the Swans were playing crap. The S-Y-D-N-E-Y chant and the two roars of the crowd at the end made the hairs stand up on my neck. Fabulous moment. Never get tired of watching it.

I think the Spida/Jolly combination is working well, if not better. Look at the stats, we are winning loads of hitouts. It really shows the importance of someone who can read the play well enough to get to it, and then have the skill to do something useful with it once he has it, even if he never really had control of the ball. Jason was very good, Davis was superb. Thank Christ it was not Buchanan's job to rove that contest... (I love to use the word rove as a verb)

Wind the clock forward 14 days and approximately 19 hours and Buchanan roved one not too dissimilar with aplomb. That too was a fairly important goal in the context of the season.

It was indeed, and was a great and memorable goal (though not in the same league's as Nick's for skill). He was kicking reasonably well then, but over the last season and a half his kicking has steadily gone down hill.

Seriously so did I! At 3/4 time I even mentioned to a mate that I'd been watching it and that we were only 3 goals at 3/4 time against Geelong in that game too. That's where similarity ended.

We outscored Geelong by 20 points in the final quarter.

We outscored Collingwood by 20 points in the final quarter.

Letting Collingwood have 21 scoring shots to 7 in the first three quarters is the biggest difference (and missing Davis).
