As for the Grundy omission, I really have no idea what their plans / expectations are for him. Would have been the logical choice to replace Barry as a key forward target - not a decoy forward. Maybe they've decided that the forecast wet conditions won't suit him.
I totally agree with you Liz. I don't understand this at all. Buchanan and McVeigh should be the ones getting the boot. FFS!!!

Not a bad idea....But more likely a three pronged attack Micky O, Spida, Davis
Grundy has had a fair chance and shown little, the predicted wet and windy conditions would have confined him to his usual role as decoy,
      bye bye Reg...he's gaawwwn !!
But I think most of us know who should be first to go...my mate McVeigh, he must be sleeping with Roosy. I predict the usual 9 - 13 ineffectual touches, 1-2 ineffectual tackle attempts, and of course 3-4 turn overs.
He may be challenged by his mentor...Benny, who is a master of the ineffectual.
Where is Voges ?? Maybe they're saving crazy horse for a day out against the Anchors, he loves the cheer of the home crowd
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect... MT

See, I don't think he has.

          To those writing him off:

          - Tall players take longer to develop.
          - Reg is not being given a chance as an actual KP player, but rather as a decoy flanker.
          - He got injured in the pre-season, and was rushed straight in for round two without having played a game.

To all the knockers of the selected team - Will you apologise for your ignorance when the Swans win?

                  Now that's confidence.

With McLaren and Chamberlain automatically favouring the Cats (since they favour the home side or whoever's facing Sydney), I reckon Roosy will have to fork out another generous donation to Andy and his chums because of the umpiring.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

Yeah I will apologise but doubt I'll have to - especially if the team has any heart and pride to speak of.

Duh! That was before they we're given a massive shake-up! Don't you know anything? Dare I say it..Not a real fan..Can't you accept mediocrity? They're DOING THE BEST THEY CAN.

This is the time to stand up and show the footy world that the Swans are not a spent force. We've been known to do it before - time will tell if we can do it again. I think they can, and at the very least put in a fighting performance and not the drivel we have witnessed in most of the past 12 weeks.

We've stood up and sat down alot this season....hopefully when the music stops towards the end of the season, we'll still have a chair.
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

Probably Goodes should play more up forward he's starting to get tagged a bit more in the centre, since we don't know what's happening with Hall. Laidlaw should be tried in defence he has looked good there in the pre-season when he was put under pressure from the opposition and his pace would be an asset.
