    Laidlaw on Channel 10 news

Matty Laidlaw had his introduction to Melbourne media last night and he handled it with aplob. He seems a confident lad who is obviously very excited about his debut. He is however disappointed that his parents are overseas in Turkey and won't be there to see him run out for the first time.

"they knew it was coming, they should have gone earlier" was his reply.

I'm glad he handled it well. I am nervous enough for him to substitute as a parent....seeing he's my lovechild.

My bridesmaid's daughter who went to school with him at Carey is over here in gloriously sunny Ulverstone during the Uni holidays and staying next door at her Grandma's....so we are watching the game together to cheer him on.(Do I have to wash after sitting next to a Collingwood supporter? She has all her teeth.)
