    Hiding injuries

Since its part of the bloods culture to hid injuries from your coach and medical staff so you can continue to get selected in teh 1st, lets look at who are the players most likely to be playing injured:

McVeigh - Even though he's never set the world on fire, his 2007 form is terrible. The Geelong game exposed him for speed and his kicking cant cover 40m.
Injury: Groin Injury. Requires 6 week rest.

Ted Richards - Started the season well, but now struggling to have much inpact. Being played out of position not helping him, but no where near the player he was last year.
    Injury: Foot problem.

Okeefe - Been good for most of the year, but last couple of weeks has missed many marks.
    Injury: Wrist.

J.Bolton - Been useless all year, and I noticed he looks very ginger in the warm up to the Geelong game.
    Injury: Ousious Pubus (Groin)

Some would argue that Jude has been useless for a lot longer than that.
And that he isn't injured, just a player payed way more than he is worth.....

Indeed. I was looking for an old thread the other day and came across one calling Jude Bolton incompetent and questioning his place in the team. It was from 2004.

Watching the Richmomd/Saints game last night I was staggered at how fast the game was and how accurate their passing was.

Also I became aware of how open the players are to injury playing this style. The bodies were flying everywhere at high speed and people flinging themselves all over the place. I shut my eyes a few times as I thought it was going to be the end of a few players.

Our style is slower but players don't seem to be flying everywhere...so maybe they aren't hiding injuries, they aren't injured just out of form.

When teams player man on man alot of the swans are exposed. It has taken 3 years foor clubs to work this out. When teams have done this the skill level of the swans drops to auskick abililty.Bolton Matthews Barry are some of the worst offenders.
