Ah, smell the sweet stench of mediocrity.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

What a load of crap - "stung by their lacklustre performance against the Magpies" they came out and produced another lacklustre performance!

“While we’re still disappointed that we lost, there were a few guys who ran into a bit of form."
      Besides Goodes - who else?

Statistically, Geelong is right up there with West Coast as the competition leaders in winning contested ball and Ablett felt the Swans matched the Cats for most of the day in trying conditions at Skilled Stadium. How did we match them - by giving them an 8 goal lead and kicking just 2 goals to half time!?!?

This again is evidence that footballers should not talk to the media!
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

"[T]here are things that matter more and he's reading and thinking about them: heaven, reincarnation. Life and death are the only things that are truly a matter of life and death. Not football."

        I have to agree.

I've had enough of the crap the Swans players and ors. continually drivel on about. Just stick to playing the game and perhaps refuse all media until you show a little more on the park.

Enough is enough of the same old standard, good this week, bad this week, worse this week, didn't play as a team this week, blah blah blah!

Wonder why Luke Ablett was chosen to talk to the media. Maybe he was the only one available to put a positive spin on it.

Well to some extent Ablett is right. We did get as much of the contested, uncontested, disposals, inside 50s as Geelong. We just had extremely poor execution, which at the end of the day is what matters.

I remember the days we would lose a lot of those statistics and win by 5 goals through efficiency.

IMO it was a gritty fightback i'm not happy we lost but i am happy with the boys in the last for at least having a crack.
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

I reckon they draw straws. Lukey today, Benny tomorrow, Kirky after that. Lets give Dumpster a go and, just for a laugh, a bit of serious comment from our super hero - the great Jarrad McVeigh!!

We haven't had a less talk, more action article for a while. Hall must come out this week and say the week off did him the world of good, he got away from training for a while, the day in the coach's box was a real eye opener and that he feels 100% and can't wait to get out there next w/e.

In the past couple of weeks Matthew's has been the spokesman for the team at interviews - I notice though they ask him about the form of other key players in the team, never his own, because if he is supposed to be the top, honest as the day is long, type of bloke they say he is then he would have to say "my form is @@@@ actually".

But people dont be surprised if Roos gets on the telly alot more in the next week or two - it will be a repeat of him talking about the form of certain players, not about his lack of a glame plan alternative.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................
