Nice post Captain. Yes Mick was terrific today and that is just a nice bit if icing on an excellent career thus far.

Sydney is the most mature playing group in the AFL meaning that their old heads are all men, men in the best of definitions (not "men" that are just masculine but emotionally screwed boys). Great citizens and great people as well as generous and talented footballers.

Mick is the best example of that. He's a selfless leader at a footy club that has had some great success and upon his retirement we will miss a terrific person, an important leader and one of the most talented skillful people to ever call themself a 'Swan'.

Today was freezing but Mick and co did a great job to warm the heart.

How was Magic's efforts to run down the Freo bloke at CHB just as he was about to pump it into their forward 50? I wonder how many other games record holders have done THAT in their record breaking game? Ha!! There was another moment too in the last qr when Magic's forward pressure led to the ball going to Schneider who set up ROK for a goal - just magnificent one percenters in a critical game and highlighted the difference between the two sides.
