    Where to for The Horse?

It seems now that there will definetley be some moves in the coaching fraternity between now and the start of next year.

The departure of the Reverend, the mounting pressure on Connolly, and the continuing failure of Wallace would all seem to point to one thing..... That John Longmire may be taking up a senior coaching role and it won't be with the Swans... Or will it?

Just a feeling but i reckon Horse,Roos and the club have come to an agreement on the coaching role.Roos has given them a retirement date and Horse has accepted the date and is counting down the days to take over regardless of the ladder position.
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

                My 2 cents worth -

Melbourne or Essendon will be the most likely jobs for Horse.

Freo will be coached by Mark Harvey (he is currently assistant there and an obvious successor).

Michael Voss will take over at Carlton - a decent up and coming list which is young enough for Vossy to put his stamp on.

Wallace and Roos won't be going anywhere.

                    I'd think so.

He's still feeling the effects of Thomas' flawed genius. next year will be a much better indication of how he travels as a coach.

I?d suggest that Longmire has a chat with Peter Costello to discuss the viability of such arrangements.

Wouldn't surprise me if Harvey has a choice of Freo or Essendon at the end of the year.

Yeah, Longmire would be silly to enter such an agreement unless he is really tied to living in Sydney because his kids are in school or something.

Roos said he would retire when Kirk, Hall, Barry retire, so Longmire will inherit a team needing a major rebuilt, with little to work from since our 2nd's players have spent their lives thrashing Tuggeranong.

Jobs arent very secure in the rebuilding phase for a club like Sydney.

Longmire would be mad not to take up a role at a club thats got a good up and coming list. And for my two bobs worth, you cant go past Freo. Carlton possibly too because the only way is up for those clowns.
