    Milestone suggestions for motivation

    Reading the sports news this morning it seems that our list now needs milestones to motivate them to win games.

    Quoting Cpt Kirk from the article: "I think you should be able to mentally prepare to play AFL football, that's our job, but unfortunately we're all human beings and it's not going to happen like that all the time. On the weekend it all clicked, everyone was there and hopefully we can get that again."

    It seems, winning the premiership (and large pay packets) in a particular year is no longer sufficient motivation for our team, they need more.

    At one stage there on the weekend, the Swans looked all but gone when Freo was in front. Fortunately Freo hit the off switch and went into sleepy mode. From where I was sitting the Swans won but not without a great amount of help from FReo.

    Yes, back to motivation. Is there suggestions in RWO land for motivational incentives for our boys?

    Let me start:

    1. Winning the premiership in 2007;
    2. Showing the AFL world that the team weren't one hit won wonders;
    3. Keeping Matthews and McVeigh in firsts!;
    4. Micky getting his boots back from Ebay;
    5. Fans driven end of season trip!

    Bugger couldn't help myself on the last three.

    McVeighs 40th consecutive game, this weekend.

    Congrats, you would never have made that mark without the support of the coaching staff, leadership group, and RWO.

          Kenny and the old tarts will be out on a seniors bus trip this Sunday to the Pharmaceuticals Warehouse annual sale, so that means there could be some new faces standing behind the Paddington end goals.

            you would think that the thought of kenny walking them off the field and leading them in the club song would be motivation enough.
            Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
            Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

                      Injuries to wet toast should be incentive for next week. I hope they take baby powder to upset certain players focus.
